As generations before them, womenfolk gather at Leth t鈥檜rh kak (The Flats) at Tsiigehtchic to pluck geese, swans and ducks harvested by the menfolk (in this case, from Andrew Lake east of Tsiigehtchic via helicopter). These days, background music comes from a portable Yellowtooth speaker, hotdogs are grilled and ice tea provides hydration. Still, the traditional gathering flourishes and is passed on to the younger generation.
