Yellowknife police assisted a person with injuries consistent with being stabbed when they responded to a report of a stabbing in the area of 49 Street on Oct. 27 around 1 a.m.
Officers provided first aid until paramedics arrived and transported the victim for treatment.
The suspect had already fled the scene, according to the RCMP.
The investigation remains ongoing at this time. No arrests have been made.
